The main objective of the Upward Bound Program at SUNY Buffalo State is to generate the skills and motivation necessary for students to complete secondary education and enter and succeed in a program of postsecondary education.
We achieve this by focusing on four major areas:
Study Skills and Development
-To hone necessary academic skills
-To guide participants through the process of decision making, planning and postsecondary enrollment.
-To generate critical thinking of career and business options
-To develop communications skills and increase experiences
